We are a busy GP surgery dedicated to providing excellent

We're looking for a motivated Health Care Assistant to join our nursing team. Duties include home visits, stock
management, and routine patient care.

Main duties of the job


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct home visits for patients unable to attend the surgery for their annual review - maximum 3 patients weekly.
    • Manage and maintain clinical stock and equipment.
    • Take patient observations: blood pressure, pulse & pulse oximetry, temperature & weight.
    • Perform phlebotomy.
    • Record ECGs.
    • Administer vaccinations & injections under a PSD.
    • Conduct diabetic foot checks.
    • Wound care.
    • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and admin staff.
    • Follow infection control and confidentiality procedures.

    South Milford Surgery & Bramham Medical Centre are part of the same partnership but the surgeries have separate patient lists and are members of different primary care networks. For this advert, the Nursing team work under the South Milford umbrella and work across all our sites which include our branches in Micklefield and Thorpe Willoughby.
